Football: Wednesday nights at Loyola is place to be
I'm going to be spending lots of Wednesday nights this summer at Los Angeles Loyola because the Cubs will have a weekly seven-on-seven summer passing competition that will include several intriguing teams.
The first session is set for June 15 beginning at 4:30 p.m. The two City Section finalists from last season, Crenshaw and Carson, will participate, along with Long Beach Jordan and the host Cubs.
On June 22, L.A. Cathedral, Crenshaw and North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake drop by. On June 29, it's Beverly Hills, Cathedral and Compton Dominguez. On July 6, Culver City, Salesian and Fairfax participate. On July 11, Garfield, Dorsey and Culver City make the trip. On July 20, the final session, it's Dorsey, Fairfax and Garfield.

High School Football Fan. With all due respect Salesian plays in the weakest league in all the CIFSS Santa Fe . Salesian had 54 players and lost to Rio hondo Prep with 22 players a year ago. Salesian has been put on probation Two year's in a row for CIF Violations. Enough said.
