Come June, Westlake Village Oaks Christian is expected to be loaded with transfer students in football.

Harbor City Narbonne Coach Manual Douglas confirmed on Monday that talented cornerback Malik Cyphers, a sophomore-to-be, is headed to Oaks Christian. And two other Narbonne sophomores-to-be also could be joining him.

Another sophomore-to-be, Oxnard linebacker-fullback Tyrone Faanono, has been accepted to Oaks Christian.

If they all show up, the defending Northern Division champion Lions and Ventura St. Bonaventure will be the co-favorites to win the title. All would be eligible immediately because of the one-time free transfer rule before their sophomore season.
