Boys' basketball: Fairfax gets West Adams transfer
Los Angeles Fairfax has improved its team immediately with the arrival of 6-foot-6 West Adams transfer Taj Adams, who started last season as a junior and was the team's leading scorer.
"He's got some definite talent," Coach Harvey Kitani said.
Fairfax has been using guard Brendon Taylor during spring league even though he has been declared ineligible for next season by the CIF. Taylor is trying to regain his eligibility.
-- Eric Sondheimer

How is he able to transfer to Fairfax and be eligible? Did he have a valid change of address? We all know that this is an athletic motivated transfer. Bet Fairfax won't get bust this year and Brendon Taylor becomes eligible. Guess who is on the committee that oversees transfers - their Athletic Director...

how does lausd allow fairfax to keep getting all these transfers every year.
but when it comes to other schools and getting kids to transfer they always have to sit out a yr. i highly doubt all these transfers move into the fairfax area i can bet half of that team lives nowhere near the fairfax boundaries.
