Former Granada Hills baseball Coach Darryl Stroh is retired and living in Arizona, but he surely must have a smile on his face regarding what his former pupil, All-City shortstop Greg Fowble, is doing as coach at Brentwood.

Last season, the Eagles were 0-12 in the Alpha League. This season, they went 8-0 in the Delphic League and won their first-round Southern Section Division 6 playoff game on Thursday with an 11-4 win over Avalon. They are 16-2 overall.

Senior infielder Jacob Charms is batting .535. Against Avalon, Evan Abraham had three hits and five RBIs.
