Baseball: Division 1 semifinals are set

Blair Field in Long Beach will be the site for Tuesday’s Southern Section Division 1 semifinals. Lakewood will play Riverside North at 4 p.m. and Long Beach Wilson will face Anaheim Esperanza at 7 p.m.

Home runs rarely occur at Blair Field, so it’s about pitching and playing defense. Lakewood’s defense has been superb of late.
