Track: De’Anthony Thomas’ status is uncertain

De’Anthony Thomas of Crenshaw, one of the top sprinters in the state, has not competed in a track meet this spring and there’s still no definite answer whether he’ll be competing in track.

Coach Steve Lang described Thomas’ availability as ‘uncertain.’ Thomas went out for practice last week for two days but did not compete in a meet.

Lang said Thomas has been focusing on his academics. Thomas signed with Oregon for football.

Lang was waiting to see on Monday whether Thomas would be at practice.
