Swimming: Loyola shows ability in dual meet

Los Angeles Loyola defeated Mission Viejo Capistrano Valley, 105-65, and Corona del Mar, 104-66, in a swimming dual meet involving the top schools in Southern Section Division 1.

Top performances included Loyola’s Andrew Angeles (57.13) in the 100-yard breaststroke; Corona del Mar’s Jared Namba (51.06) in the 100 butterfly; Loyola’s Fred Abramyan (21.29) in the 50 freestyle; Corona del Mar’s Jon Kim (1:54.95) in the 200 individual medley, and Capistrano Valley’s Logan Redondo (1:42.80) in the 200 freestyle.
