Former Venice High standout Jonas Mouton was selected in the second round of the NFL draft by the San Diego Chargers. He played linebacker at Michigan and led the Big 10 in tackles in 2010.

Venice Coach Angelo Gasca said he was thrilled with Mouton’s selection.
