Jackson, Dinwiddie put on a show at Battle of the Valley

Boston College-bound Lonnie Jackson of Valencia and Colorado-bound Spencer Dinwiddie of Woodland Hills Taft were named co-MVPs of the Battle of the Valley all-star game at Cal State Northridge. Jackson scored 27 points to lead the East to a 112-101 victory.

Dinwiddie scored 27 of his 32 points in the second half for the West team.

Other top performances were turned in by Alemany’s Jordan Fuller, who had 19 points, and Encino Crespi’s Matt Mounier, who had 16 points in the second half.

In the girls’ game, Chatsworth’s Jasmine Wooton scored 19 points and was the MVP in leading the West to an 81-69 victory over the East.
