Football: Impact transfers

There were three transfer students at Sunday's Nike camp making their debuts representing their new schools, and if they are eligible this fall, they could be impact tranfers.

Quarterback Nick Pope, a transfer from Redondo, is now at Long Beach Poly. Linebacker Thomas Brown, a transfer from Long Beach St. Anthony, is at Gardena Serra. Linebacker C.J. Dozier, a transfer from Temecula Chaparral, is at Bellflower St. John Bosco.

All look like impressive athletes. They're either going to need a hardship waiver or have a change in residence to be eligible.

Again, always hating on Serra. Why don't you hate on Oaks for all their QB transfers. Look for Serra to use what they have.

Serra will probably get a QB Transfer from San Clemente or Palisades again. Serra let's anybody into the school that's for sure.

Any idea on who Serra has in line to replace Conner Preston? Serra holds a tough schedule this year.. theyll probably rely on their defense to keep them in games this year
