Football: All-star game set for Arizona

The Southern California Interscholastic Football Coaches Assn. has joined forces with its counterpart in Arizona to hold an all-star football game on June 25 at the Kansas City Royals-Texas Rangers spring training facility in Sunrise, Ariz.

Five retired high school football coaches from Southern California will coach the Southern California team: Dick Bruich (Fontana, Kaiser), Bob Baiz (Claremont), Dick Larson (Damien), Herb Meyer (Oceanside El Camino) and Mike Wunderley (Valley Christian).

Players will be selected from the Southern Section, San Diego Section and City Section.
