Boys' basketball: Get ready for competing tournaments
Los Angeles Fairfax and Westchester have decided to host summer basketball tournaments on identical days, June 27 through July 2.
Whether that's good or bad, fans will have to decide.
Top teams in the Fairfax tournament include Long Beach Poly, Los Angeles Loyola and Santa Ana Mater Dei.
Mater Dei is also listed as being in the Westchester tournament, along with Woodland Hills Taft, Gardena Serra, Palisades, St. Bernard and Compton Centennial.

There is a third tournament also. Dominguez High School is hosting a tournament June 28-July 2. Lots of Summer hoops...
