Baseball: Victory No. 500 for Coach Gary Rungo

Gary Rungo, the long-time coach at Riverside Arlington, celebrated his 500th coaching victory on Saturday when Arlington defeated Pomona Diamond Ranch, 8-3, in the Centennial tournament.

Rungo has been Arlington’s coach since 1983. The program has won three Southern Section championships and sent 28 players to college on scholarships.
