Baseball: Quartz Hill takes over first place in Golden League

First place was on the line in the Golden League, and Quartz Hill came away with a 10-5 victory over Lancaster. Jay Sheeley had a triple and scored two runs. Ryan Marshall had two hits.

Quartz Hill is 15-3 and 5-0. Lancaster is 10-7 and 4-1. The two schools play again on Friday night at Clear Channel Stadium, home of the Lancaster Jethawks.
