Baseball: Montclair Prep rallies for win over Campbell Hall

Van Nuys Montclair Prep scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat North Hollywood Campbell Hall, 4-3, in a key Alpha League game.

Blake Steele’s RBI single in the seventh was the game winner, moving the Mounties to 16-6 overall and 8-2 in league. Campbell Hall is 6-2 in league. Montclair Prep faces first-place Lancaster Paraclete in a two-game series next week.

Max Fried struck out 10 and allowed one hit. Campbell Hall trailed, 1-0, going into the seventh before scoring three runs. Steele finished with three hits.
