Baseball: Long Beach Wilson loses Sean Buckle to injury

Sean Buckle, a standout center fielder and pitcher for Long Beach Wilson, has been lost for the rest of the season because of a freak neck injury suffered at the beach while playing Frisbee.

The Loyola Marymount-bound Buckle was hitting over .400 and had 11 steals in 11 attempts.

The Moore League already has lost catcher standout Tyler Schultz of Lakewood with a broken scapula.
