It’s early April and North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake has played 12 baseball games but none in the Mission League because of an early bye and bad weather. But this coming week, we’ll get to see if the Wolverines can emerge as a challenger to West Hills Chaminade for the league title.

Harvard-Westlake (8-4) opens league play on Tuesday at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, then plays Mission Hills Alemany in a makeup game on Thursday, followed by another game against Notre Dame on Friday at home.

Harvard-Westlake is an intriguing team because it boasts one of the best pitchers in junior Lucas Giolito (UCLA commit) and an outstanding freshman in outfielder Jack Flaherty.
