La Puente Bishop Amat has wrapped up its 20th consecutive victory, winning the championship game of the Hard 9 National Classic with a 12-1 victory over Anaheim Esperanza at Cal State Fullerton.

Adam Alcantara hit a two-run home run and Jay Anderson contributed a two-run triple and RBI triple for the Lancers (20-2), who got strong relief pitching from Rio Ruiz. He struck out seven in four shutout innings. Ryan Serrato added three hits and Brandon Castaneda had a two-run single.
