What a week it was for La Puente Bishop Amat, which knocked off Camarillo, 11-1, on Saturday night to win its 21st consecutive game. Camarillo (15-4-1) hadn’t lost since March 12 and had won 14 consecutive games.

Bishop Amat (21-2) won the National Classic on Thursday night, took a day off on Friday, then continued its outstanding play with 16 hits in a semifinal win in the Redondo tournament. The Lancers will face Torrance next Saturday in the final.
