April 27, 2011 |  6:36 pm

Chatsworth has struggled over the years playing at Woodland Hills Taft, and it happened again on Wednesday in a West Valley League game.

The host Toreadors rallied in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game, 7-7, then won it in the ninth, 8-7, on a walk-off home run by Alex Sawelson off Aaron Brown. Chatsworth dropped into a first-place tie with El Camino Real at 14-5 and 4-1. Taft is 14-8 and 3-2. The Toreadors played flawless defense. Chatsworth had four errors.

Jerry Barrajas went the distance on the mound for Taft.

El Camino Real got a complete game from Jose Cardona to defeat Granada Hills, 4-2. Oscar Tinjaca, a transfer from Granada Hills, hit a two-run home run, and Chris Whitmer added a two-run single. Birmingham hung on for a 6-5 win over Reseda Cleveland. Luke Jupp picked up a save. Kevin Torres hit a home run and had three RBIs.

In the East Valley League, Arleta defeated Verdugo Hills, 9-5. Javy Lopez hit a grand slam. Ivan Ceja and Manny Guzman hit two-run home runs.
