Jantzen Oshier of Mission Viejo Trabuco Hills won the mile at the Adidas Azusa Pacific Meet of Champions Distance Classic on Saturday, winning in 4:07.78.

He’s the top distance runner in the West for now, but Loyola’s Elias Gedyon is getting ready to return after resting with a hamstring injury.

The two could face off at the Arcadia Invitational on April 9.
