Marty Wilson makes it to the top

You have to feel good about the accomplishment of Marty Wilson, the new basketball coach at Pepperdine.

Here’s someone who has worked hard all his life, from being at standout at Simi Valley High to working behind the scenes as an assistant coach.

Now he gets to take over at Pepperdine. I’ve seen him several times this season watching his son play junior varsity basketball at Palisades. It’s good that he has been able to juggle responsibilities as a father and coach.

Lots of people wish him good luck at Pepperdine.
