Windward School is showing why it was a big favorite to win the Southern Section Division 4AA crown. The Wildcats are 16 minutes away from achieving their season-long goal, leading Bishop Montgomery 31-18 at halftime at the Anaheim Convention Center.

The Wildcats’ size has been too much for Bishop Montgomery so far. Freshman guard Jordin Canada has 12 points and junior forward Paris Baird has seven points and five rebounds for Windward, which came into the contest on a 15-game winning streak.
