Michelle Miller had 32 points and nine rebounds to help give top-seeded Pasadena Poly a 55-42 win against second-seeded Palos Verdes Peninsula Chadwick in the Southern Section Division 5A championship Saturday at Santa Ana Mater Dei.

The Panthers won their first championship since 1992.

‘It’s amazing,’ said Poly Coach Kim Weber. ‘I’m proud of every single one of them.’
