The quarterback of the future at Westlake Village Oaks Christian, Lucas Falk, could be gone. He enrolled at Oaks Christian in January from Logan, Utah, but he wasn’t in school this week after being ill and having returned to Utah.

Coach Bill Redell said Falk was supposed to return on Friday but had not arrived.

‘I think he’ll be back Monday,’ Redell said, though he was uncertain.

If Falk doesn’t return, the Lions are still in good hands with sophomore-to-be Brendon Dawkins and junior-to-be Cody Cordell.

Update: Private quarterback coach Steve Clarkson said Falk returned from Utah on Friday and will be back at Oaks Christian. ‘He was sick,’ Clarkson said.
