Football: James Boyd could be leaving USC

Former Los Angeles Jordan standout James Boyd appears on his way out of USC. The Daily News reported he has cleaned out his locker, and his former Jordan coach, Elijah Asante, said he expects Boyd to leave school.

Asante said Boyd, who will be a junior and has played on the defensive line, has had knee problems. He said Boyd still wants to continue playing, but it will probably happen at another school. Boyd is still enrolled at USC.
