Every time Corona Centennial opens the door a crack, Long Beach Poly slams it shut with a dunk or three-pointer. There’s no dog in the Huskies, but they simply don’t have the size or quickness to stay with tonight’s opponent.

Poly leads 62-41 with 5:06 left in the fourth quarter. Perhaps the most telling stat is rebounding. The Jackrabbits have nearly three times as many and that has led to numerous fast breaks and 12 second-chance points.
