Los Angeles Windward has made it to the Southern California Regional Division IV championship game on Saturday against Westlake Village Oaks Christian at Ontario Colony with the help of 6-foot-5 junior Nicholas Stover.

His coach, Miguel Villegas, calls him ‘the most improved player in Los Angeles.’

Stover’s scoring and rebounding have enabled the Wildcats to move within one victory of a trip to Sacramento.

His older brother, Anthony, plays center for UCLA. Nicholas is a much better shooter, having the versatility to go inside or outside for his points.

He’ll need to have a big game against an Oaks Christian team that has lots of athletes, including football standouts Blair Holliday and Dillon van der Wal.
