Boys’ basketball: Mater Dei leads at halftime, 35-23

Mater Dei continues to execute well on offense and has a 35-23 halftime lead over Corona Centennial in the 1AA semifinal. The Monarchs have made 16 of 24 shots.

Katin Reinhardt has been hitting his shots. He has 12 points. Xavier Johnson has eight points.

Michael Caffey gave the Huskies a spark in the second quarter with four baskets. Centennial trailed by as many as 24-9.
