Boys’ basketball: Long Beach Poly wins semifinal

Sophomore Roschon Prince contributed two key baskets in the final minute and finished with 19 points to help top-seeded Long Beach Poly defeat Etiwanda, 60-53, in a 1AA semifinal.
Byron Wesley had 18 points for Etiwanda (28-3). Poly will face Centennial in the 1AA final Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center
Attendance for the boys’ and girls’ semifinals was 4,846.
