The highly-anticipated showdown between Long Beach Poly and Corona Centennial turned out to be a mismatch.

The top-seeded Jackrabbits (29-1) had no trouble carving up Centennial’s pressure defense and ran away with the Southern Section Division 1AA title with an impressive 68-52 victory at the Anaheim Convention Center.
