Boys' basketball: Division V regional final tips off

Chatsworth Sierra Canyon and Playa del Rey St. Bernard have started their Southern California Regional Division V final, the second of four games today at Colony High in Ontario.

Sierra Canyon (27-5) is the top seed and is led by sophomore guard Jahmel Taylor, who averages 21.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.

St. Bernard is led by sophomore guard-forward Brandon Randolph, who averages 19.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists.
