Boys’ basketball: Co-MVP honors for Dinwiddie, Blackwell

Spencer Dinwiddie and C.J. Blackwell, standouts for Woodland Hills Taft, have been named co-MVPs of the West Valley League in basketball.

First-team all-league picks were Terrell Funches and Derrick Hector of Chatsworth, Jaylan Bland of Reseda Cleveland, Maleke Haynes and Temjae Singleton of Woodland Hills El Camino Real, Brandon Peterson of Granada Hills and Kevin Johnson and Stephen Maxwell of Taft.
