There are at least two intriguing league baseball games this week, with Anaheim Servite playing at Santa Ana Mater Dei in a 6 p.m. game on Tuesday and Newhall Hart playing at Valencia at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

The challenge in the Trinity League for Mater Dei is being able to knock off Servite junior pitcher Cole Irvin, who shut out JSerra in a Trinity opener.

The Valencia-Hart Foothill League game could produce some scoring. Hart is 9-1. Valencia is 6-1. They take their baseball as seriously in the Santa Clarita Valley as they do football. The fans should be out in good numbers because the weather forecast is for sun and warm temperatures.
