As if the Trinity League wasn’t tough enough with the likes of Santa Ana Mater Dei, Orange Lutheran and JSerra, Bellflower St. John Bosco is 5-0 and won the El Seguno tournament title with a 1-0 win over Long Beach Poly.

Sophomore Adrian Martinez threw four scoreless innings, and then relievers Corey Painter and David Meza threw three perfect innings. Manny De La Rosa drove in the winning run after a Kyle Peralta triple.

St. John Bosco has little time to celebrate. The Braves begin Trinity League play on Friday against Mater Dei. St. John Bosco will have its ace, Koby Gauna (2-0), ready to pitch.
