Long Beach Wilson’s 3-1 win over Lakewood on Wednesday gives the Bruins (8-3, 2-0) an early edge in Moore League play.

Junior Chase DeJong outdueled junior Shane Watson before 2,000 fans. Lakewood dropped to 11-3 and 2-1.

There will be a rematch.
