Baseball: It’s a Valencia-Chatsworth final

Valencia and Chatsworth advanced to Saturday’s championship game of the Easton tournament with shutout victories on Thursday.

Nick Rivas threw six shutout innings and hit a two-run home run in Valencia’s 2-0 victory over West Hills Chaminade. Quincy Quintero picked up the save. Aaron Brown threw a complete game, striking out nine and walking three in Chatsworth’s 7-0 victory over Newhall Hart. Tim Han had a two-run double for the Chancellors.

The two 3-0 clubs will meet at a site to be announced.
