Teams going for double championships this weekend
A true basketball powerhouse is a school that wins championships in boys' and girls' in the same year, and there are several trying to pull off the feat.
North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake, Orange Lutheran, Los Angeles Windward, Westlake Village Oaks Christian and Redlands Adventist have all advanced to championship games in boys' and girls' basketball.
Here's this week's schedule for Southern Section finals.
In the City Section, Harbor City Narbonne's boys' and girls' teams have a chance to win titles, as does View Park and LACES.
Correction: An earlier version of this blog listed Mater Dei. The Monarchs' girls' and boys' teams still have semifinal games on Tuesday.
