They’re celebrating in Agoura Hills and anywhere there’s a Matthews family member.

Clay Matthews III, the former Agoura High linebacker, won a Super Bowl on Sunday with the Green Bay Packers, forcing the decisive fumble in the second half of a 31-25 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

His father, Clay II, played 19 years in the NFL. His uncle, Bruce, is in the Hall of Fame. And his grandfather, Clay, played in the NFL in the 1950s. They never won a championship.

‘The monkey is off the Matthews family back,’ Matthews proclaimed.

It took a former walk-on at USC to pull it off. And there’s another Matthews arriving in the NFL next season, brother Casey, the ex-Oaks Christian linebacker.
