Football: Sun Valley Poly picks new coach

Joseph Pierro, who served as a varsity assistant coach and head junior varsity coach at Reseda Cleveland last season and previously worked as a junior varsity coach at Lake Balboa Birmingham, has been hired as football coach at Sun Valley Poly.
He played football at Cal State Northridge, where he was a teammate of Birmingham Coach Jim Rose.
