Yes, the day has barely started with high school seniors signing letters of intent, but it’s time to look at who’s going to be heavily recruited among the class of 2012.

There’s going to be a big debate as to who’s the best offensive lineman. The competition includes Max Tuerk of Santa Margarita, Kyle Murphy of San Clemente and Jordan Simmons of Encino Crespi.

There’s a terrific group of receivers. They include Richard Smith from Long Beach Poly, Jordan Payton from Westlake Village Oaks Christian, Bryce Treggs from Bellflower St. John Bosco, Darreus Rogers from Carson, Darius Powe from Lakewood, Gabriel Marks from Venice and Travis Talianko from St. Francis.

At quarterback, Marc Evans from Ventura St. Bonaventure and Travis Wilson from San Clemente are strong targets.
