Cross country: City Council to honor Loyola team

The Los Angeles City Council and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa are scheduled to honor Los Angeles Loyola’s state championship cross country team on Friday at 10 a.m. at City Hall.

Loyola won its fifth state championship in the fall. The team will be presented with a City proclamation designating Feb. 21 as Loyola High School Cross Country Day.
