Boys’ basketball: Simi Valley pulls into first-place tie in Marmonte

Simi Valley moved into a first-place tie in the Marmonte League on Tuesday night by knocking off Thousand Oaks, 48-44, at Simi Valley.

The Pioneers (17-6, 9-2) received 16 points from D.J. Saul, who made five three-pointers. Jonathan Davis added 15 points. Evann Hall had 15 points for Thousand Oaks (20-3, 9-2).

In the Alpha League, Windward (17-6, 7-0) continued its dominating play with a 77-39 win over Brentwood.

Austin McBroom scored 34 points in Campbell Hall’s 61-60 win over Chatsworth Sierra Canyon.

In the Pacific League, Pasadena Muir picked up a 60-57 overtime win over Glendale.
