Boys’ basketball: Reese Morgan keeps scoring and scoring

A 54-point performance on Tuesday against Lawndale Leuzinger was the latest scoring outburst for Peninsula senior Reese Morgan, a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo signee.

Morgan’s career high came in an 88-84 overtime victory that lifted Peninsula to a 22-1 record and 7-0 mark in the Bay League.

Morgan, a 6-foot-3 guard, is averaging 28 points and has made 79 three-pointers.
