Boys' basketball: Palisades defeats Fairfax

Kahlil Johnson had 18 points and Donovan Johnson 16 points to help Palisades defeat Fairfax, 67-52, in a Western League game. L.A. University defeated LACES, 74-60, with David Nwaba scoring 31 points and Kris Berry 21 points.

In the West Valley League, Taft defeated El Camino Real, 67-36. Kevin Johnson scored 16 points and 17 rebounds. In the Coliseum League, Crenshaw defeated West Adams, 77-36. Darnell Taylor had 17 points and Isaac Hamilton 16 points and eight assists.

In the Baseline League, Upland handed Etiwanda its first league defeat, 69-65.

In the Alpha League, Chatsworth Sierra Canyon upset Los Angeles Windward, 55-54. Jahmel Taylor scored 23 points. North Hollywood Campbell Hall defeated Pacific Hills, 60-58, in overtime. Austin McBroom scored 30 points.
