Boys’ basketball: Blogging from City semifinals

It’s cold outside, with snow possible, so if you don’t go to the City Section Division I semifinals at Galen Center, I’ll be blogging.

First up is Woodland Hills Taft against Palisades. What’s interesting is that Taft assistant coach Yutaka Shimizu was the coach for Palisades Coach James Paleno when Paleno played for Hamilton in the 1975.

The other semifinal matches Westchester and Washington.
