Football: Steven Manfro to visit UCLA this month

Valencia running back Steven Manfro has received a request from Coach Rick Neuheisel to make an official visit to UCLA on Jan. 21, his father, Marc, said.

Manfro was one of the most versatile offensive players in the Southland with his running, receiving and special teams contributions.

Whether he’ll receive a scholarship offer remains to be seen, but he has shown he can play.
