Former Chatsworth quarterback Matt Cassel, named to replace Tom Brady in the Pro Bowl, will have his uniform retired during a school assembly at Chatsworth High on Feb. 11.

Cassel, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, led Chatsworth to a City Section Invitational title. He also briefly played baseball for the Chancellors.

On Feb. 12, Chatsworth’s baseball team will honor former player Bryan Petersen by retiring his jersey during a ceremony at the alumni baseball game. Petersen, who plays for the Florida Marlins, is the first Chatsworth player to reach the major leagues during Coach Tom Meusborn’s 21-year tenure.
