Football: Dan Kelley replaces Jeff Engilman at Arleta

Long-time assistant coach Dan Kelley has been selected as the replacement for Jeff Engilman as football coach at Arleta.

Kelley, 36, played for Engilman at Sylmar, served as an assistant for 10 years with the Spartans and has been an assistant coach to Engilman for five years at Arleta.

‘He’s been my mentor,’ Kelley said.

Engilman is retiring from coaching but will continue to teach at Arleta.
