Boys’ soccer: L.A. Salesian has a rising prospect

His name is Jose Espinoza, and he’s a junior soccer player to watch at L.A. Salesian. Earlier this week, he scored seven goals in a victory over Long Beach St. Anthony.

Espinoza has been scoring goals since the day he walked on campus. He had winning goals in Southern Section championship games in 2009 and 2010.

He’s starting to get attention from college recruiters.
